Standing on the Champ de Mars is the Eiffel Tower. It was constructed as the gateway to the 1889 World fair and took 2 years to build. It stands at 324 meters high and is still the tallest structure in Paris and was the Tallest structure in the world for 41 years after its completion.

The Louvre is the largest museum in the world and the world’s second most visited museum. The Louvre has over 35000 works of art on display and has more than 380000 items of historic note. It has many paintings by Masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael and possibly its most famous paint the Mona Lisa.
