    What happens after I have made my booking?

    • You will receive an on-screen confirmation which details your booking reference and instructions.
    • Please read these carefully and have the digital record available as you may need this information at the airport.
    • A booking confirmation email will also be sent.
    • Please ensure that your vehicle registration details are correct as this is used to give you access to the car park.
    • There is an option to amend your booking if you will be arriving at the airport in a different vehicle than originally planned (see below). You can also press “help” on entry and inform the operator about the change. They will confirm your booking reference number and dispense a ticket allowing free exit on your return.
    • You are responsible for supplying a valid email and we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of booking confirmation emails due to transmission failure or incorrect address details. Failure to receive the confirmation email has no bearing on the status of your booking. The booking is valid but please check your email junk or spam folder.

    How do I AMEND my booking?

    Amendments may be made up to 24 hours before the booking commences by logging in to your account with the password received when the booking was made.

    Amendments to the dates of stay are subject to the terms and conditions of your booking. Certain promotional products cannot be amended, it will be made clear at the point of booking if this is the case. Please note if you booked during a sale or at a lower price and that rate is no longer available, the new rate will apply.     How do I CANCEL my car park booking?

    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled car park arrival time/date. Cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of your booking. Where specified in the product details some special offer bookings cannot be amended or cancelled.

    What should I do if my booking reference is not recognised.

    If you are trying to amend or cancel your booking online via prebook-bournemouthairport.com and your booking reference is not recognised, it is likely that the booking has been made through a third-party site.
    If you have NOT BOOKED DIRECTLY with Bournemouth Airport and used one of the sales agents (eg Holiday Extras) please contact them directly.

    Can I make a booking TODAY and park at the airport today?

    We recommend to book in advance, limited products are available to book up to 6 hours prior to your arrival time at the airport. All Car Park bookings are subject to availability we reserve the right to withdraw availability at its entire discretion for a given date.


    What if I return later than the date/time on the booking?

    You will be charged for the additional days in which you stay in the car park, based on the overstay rate applicable to the car park and Airport.

    How can I obtain a receipt for my pre-booked parking?

    To obtain a receipt of payment please log in to the parking site via Booking and use your email and system generated password to proceed.

    After this simply click on “your bookings” section on the right-hand side before selecting the booking you wish to obtain a receipt for. At this point you will see a re-send confirmation option to generate a receipt to your email address.

    Should you wish to send the confirmation to a different email you can do this by changing your email in the “your details” section.

  • Special Assistance (Blue Badge Holder’s parking)

    Parking for Blue Badge Holders is located in Premium Car Park 1, Car Park 2 and very limited number of spaces in Car Park 3.

    To pre-book your parking simply visit our official website. There is no need to specify that you require Blue Badge parking when booking.  When you arrive, please park in any allocated parking bay for Blue Badge Holders.

    For exact location of the parking spaces please refer to the car parks map.

    If you need to take your blue badge with you when travelling, we will accept a photocopy left in your vehicle.

    An Assistance Point with a telephone and seating area are available.

    If you’re dropping friends, colleagues or loved ones at the airport then we offer dedicated Pick Up and Drop Off spaces for Blue Badge holders in Premium Car Park 1.  You can stay for up to 4 hours for just the current up to 30 minute rate of £5. To validate your ticket, please either take your Blue Badge to the parking desk inside the departure terminal or alternatively contact the desk via the intercom and the rate will be adjusted accordingly.

  • Pick Up and Drop Off

    If you’re dropping friends, colleagues or loved ones at the airport or picking them up, you can park for up to 30 mins for £5, allowing you time to wave them off or greet them on return. Please see below ‘Car Park tariff (not booked)’ for parking charges over 30 minutes.

    Entry and Exit Procedures

    Entry

    • Enter Premium Car Park 1 directly opposite the terminal building.
    • Please use the left hand lanes to access the car park.
    • On arrival at the car park barrier control panel, press for a ticket and proceed into the pick up / drop off spaces on your left.

    Exit

    Prior to exiting the car park, payment can be made at the following locations:

    • Arrivals Terminal, pay station – card payment only
    • Car Park, Pick up / Drop off, pay stations – cash & cards
    • Please note, payment at the Exit Barriers is CARD / PHONE ONLY.

     

  • Directions, Entry and Exit

    The airport is clearly signposted just off the A338. To help find the best route, use Google Maps or alternatively insert the post code BH23 6SE into your satellite navigation system.After turning into the main entrance road to Bournemouth Airport continue down the road until you reach the Departures building on your left.

    Premium Car Park 1

    Entry

    After turning into the main entrance road, continue until you reach the Departures building on your left. Premium Car Park 1 entrance is located directly opposite the Departures building.

    Approach the barrier, where your car registration will be scanned by our automatic number plate recognition cameras (ANPR) and the barrier will raise. Please proceed into the car park. Premium Car Park 1 is located to the right and directly opposite the barriers.

    If you have any queries, simply press the intercom button and speak to a member of our team quoting your booking reference number.

    Exit

    There are two exit lanes located in the car park, next to rows I and J.

    Drive to the exit, where your number plate will be scanned by our ANPR cameras, after which the barrier will raise. If prompted for over-stay payment, use the integrated chip & pin device. Alternatively, there are cash pay machines located by the entrance to Premium Car Park 1 and within the Arrivals Terminal Building.

    Car Park 2

    Entry

    After turning into the main entrance road, continue until you reach the Departures building on your left. The Car Park 2 entrance is located directly opposite the Departures building. Please enter through one of the two right-hand lanes.

    Approach the barrier, where your car registration will be scanned by our ANPR cameras and the barrier will raise. Please proceed into the car park. Car Park 2 is located to your right, after the fence. Please ensure you DO NOT park in the “Premium Car Park 1” section of the car park as this is reserved for customers booking it only. Any unauthorised vehicles parked in this area will be charged for an upgrade.

    If you have any queries, simply press the intercom button and speak to a member of our team quoting your booking reference number.

    Exit

    There are two exit lanes located in the car park, next to rows I and J.

    Car Park 3

    Please DO NOT enter Premium Car Park 1 / Car Park 2. At the barrier adjacent to the terminal please present your booking confirmation to the member of staff operating the barrier.

    Once through this barrier please continue to follow signs for Car Park 3.

    If you’re not able to pre-book your parking, you can still turn-up and park. However, if you want to guarantee your space then we do recommend that you pre-book.

    Please note that Car Park 1 and Car Park 3 including Premium spaces are only available to pre-booked customers.

    • Cash and all major debit and credit cards accepted.
    • Prices are displayed at car park entrances and may be subject to change.
    • We recommend pre-booking if you want to guarantee your space and price.

  • Large Vehicle Parking

    There are no vehicle height restrictions at the car park entrances and exits.Vehicle width restrictions are limited to our standard space size of 2.4m x 4.8m. Drivers of large and long wheelbase vehicles may use the car parks, but are advised that if their vehicle restricts the use of other car parking bays, the airport reserves the right to charge for the extra space.
