On Saturday 14th March, fly2help had the privilege of hosting a truly unforgettable AirSmiles Day at Bournemouth Airport for the Bennett Family—an incredible family nominated to receive a day of light during one of the darkest times in their lives.

This day was made possible entirely through the kindness, generosity, and dedication of volunteers and supporters who gave their time, resources, and passion to create something truly magical.
From the excitement of a static F1 car display, to the roar of supercars, to the charm of American cars, and the inspiring presence of the firecrew, every moment was filled with joy and wonder. The experience was made even more special thanks to the amazing pilots and aircraft owners who shared their love of aviation, giving the family memories they will cherish forever.

Bournemouth Airport waived any landing fees and the day was hosted by the airport’s XLR corporate jet centre – support that helped make the entire event possible.
This AirSmiles Day is a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together. Every element of the day was powered by volunteers, each playing a part in creating something extraordinary.

As fly2help celebrates its 20th anniversary, this day stands out as a powerful reminder of the impact compassion and kindness can have. We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved for helping bring smiles, hope, and unforgettable memories to the Bennett Family.
If you know a family or individual who you feel could benefit from an Air Smiles Day, you can nominate them through the website at www.fly2help.org , or by contacting the charity directly via email at [email protected].
