With immediate effect, ALL PASSENGERS arriving back at Bournemouth Airport and, anyone meeting/greeting arriving passengers will need to look out for TEMPORARY SIGNAGE INDICATING NEW ROUTES TO OUR CAR PARKS AND ONWARD TRAVEL which are necessary due to commencement of our development plan and we thank you for your patience while we work hard to improve our facilities and service.
As has been widely reported, to improve passenger security UK airports are in the process of installing new security screening equipment. Once complete at Bournemouth Airport, we will update our hand luggage rules here.
Until then, when travelling through Bournemouth Airport please prepare for security as normal. For hand luggage this means liquids must still be in containers of up to 100ml and carried in a 1-litre clear resealable plastic bag (approx 20cm x 20cm) and removed from hand luggage along with any electrical items such as laptops for security screening.
