Bournemouth Airport offers direct flights to Turin. Turin lays nestled on the edge of the Italian alps in the region of Piedmont and is the capital of the region. It sits on the river Po and has panoramic views all around.

Turin is also famous for being the home of the fiat motor company with the old iconic fiat factory in lingotto having featured in the original Italian Job film with the race track on the roof of the building being used in the chase scene. The factory is no longer the Fiat factory and was renovated to be a large shopping complex with restaurants and cinemas, but the old race track is on the roof and can still be visited.
Turin is famous for housing the Turin shroud which is a linen cloth supposed to bear the image of Jesus of Nazareth. Even though it was dated in the late 1980’s and only dates to the middle ages it still draws travellers the world over with the mystery and religious beliefs.
Italy is famous for its food and drink, but Turin is world famous for chocolate. Chocolate can be found on select dishes in every part of the menu and most warm drinks will come with the famous Gianduiotto chocolate on the side.
