Maintenance Technician

Bournemouth Airport is looking for a technically skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join its multi-skilled team.


  • Work as part of a multi-skilled team to carry out a range of general maintenance and repair tasks in support of airport operations
  • Perform call-out duties on a rota basis to attend out-of-hours repairs when required
  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • Supervising minor building works and various service engineers
  • Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, utilities, building works
  • Communicating with airport customers, staff and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Have a good awareness of Health and Safety and always work in a safe manner
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills and be familiar with the use of a PC and common computer skills such as emails, basic spreadsheets, completion of forms, etc
  • Driving airside


  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant qualification or proven experience within this field
  • A flexible approach and able to carry out a range of tasks as required
  • Have a hands-on approach to working and enjoys working outdoors
  • Able to use common sense and initiative to carry out repairs
  • Minimum of 5 years checkable work history
