Building Maintenance Team Leader
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Building Maintenance Team Leader to play a vital part in our Engineering team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of airport facilities by leading a dedicated multi-skilled team responsible for general maintenance and repairs.
Please note this is an 18 month Fixed-Term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team that carries out a range of general maintenance and repair tasks in support of airport operations.
- Perform call-out duties on a rota basis to attend out-of-hours repairs when required.
- Supervise minor building works and coordinate with various service engineers and contractors.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with airport customers, staff, and contractors.
- Maintain a strong awareness of Health and Safety practices, ensuring all work is carried out safely.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Assist the Asset Manager in the delivery of major projects.
Requirements:
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Relevant qualification or previous experience within this field.
- Have a flexible approach and be able to carry out a range of tasks as required eg. manual handling, lone working and working at height.
- Enjoys working outdoors.

Salary – £37,000 per annum, for a 40 hour working week.
