Car Park Operatives

We are looking for individuals to join our Car Parking team –  who manage our car parks throughout the year, offering an excellent standard of Customer Service to our passengers and other visitors to the site.

The main duties of the role:

• To regulate the entry and exit of vehicles;
• Provide first line maintenance to car park equipment, including rebooting ticket machines;
• To carry out patrolling and cleaning duties as directed
• To assist customers when required, providing guidance and information as required
• To undertake patrols of the car park by foot to deter suspicious activity and assist customers
• To monitor the appearance of the car park, taking action to ensure that company standards are achieved and maintained
• To ensure compliance with all company Standard Operating Procedures
• To maintain good communications and consult regularly with the Car Park Supervisor and and other car park staff, seeking assistance and contributing to the resolution of outstanding issues
• Support as requested to do so by the Terminal Operations Management Team
• To ensure all payments are made and received for car parking services through the application of agreed tariffs
• Dealing with passenger failures / complaints within a timely manner and liaising with the customer support centre to resolve issues in a timely manner

• Good communication skills
• Good computer/IT skills
• Customer service experience
• To be self-motivated and enjoy working in an outdoor environment in all-weathers
• Ability to work shifts (flexibility required to meet operational needs)
