Wizz Air Announces Second New Route From Bournemouth Airport

Wizz Air has today announced a new route to Gdansk direct from Bournemouth Airport. Passengers will be able to fly to Gdansk, Poland three times a week starting on 15 March 2008.

The introduction of this exciting new route has doubled Wizz Air’s destinations from Bournemouth Airport, following the announcement of Katowice in July.

Gdansk is a great city break destination being the sixth largest city in Poland situated in north of the country near the mouth of the Motlawa river. Gdansk has lots to offer travellers on Poland’s beautiful coastline.

The service to Gdansk, with fares from Ł19.99 one way, including all taxes, fees and charges go on sale today at www.wizzair.com

Peter Duffy, Managing Director of Bournemouth Airport said
“We are delighted that Wizz Air is continuing to grow at Bournemouth Airport. This new route follows the announcement of the popular route to Katowice which was launched just a few months ago. Both of these routes provide passengers with low cost travel to Poland from their local airport as well as increasing our portfolio of destinations.”

Natasa Kázmér, Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs of Wizz Air said
"We are delighted to see our second route in and out of Bournemouth Airport to Poland. After discovering Silesia in South Poland, passengers will be able to fly easily to the stunning Northern coast as well. We are pleased to offer low fares to our passengers and hope that many people will be able to take advantage of our convenient, friendly and efficient services. We are looking forward to continue our fruitful cooperation with Bournemouth Airport."
