Ryanair Announces Bergamo Ski Route


Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, has announced Milan Bergamo from Bournemouth Airport. Passengers booking their seats to the slopes before 6th September will be able to bring their ski equipment free of charge!*

Ryanair will operate five routes this winter from Bournemouth - Dublin, Prestwick, Girona, Alicante and Bergamo. The introduction of the new Bergamo route, which commences on 22nd December 2007 comes just weeks after they announced Alicante, which starts on 6th December 2007.

Announcing the new route Peter Duffy, Managing Director, Bournemouth Airport said,
“This is great news for the Airport as we continue to offer our customers an even greater choice of destinations, especially for skiers. Milan is also a fabulous city break; perfect for a long weekend away.”

To match Ryanair’s first ever Skis for Free programme, the Irish based company have made their ski flights available for just £10** including taxes and charges.

Commenting on the new skis for free fares, Caroline Baldwin, Head of Sales and Marketing UK, Ryanair said
“This low fare is certain to go fast, so we’d urge skiers and boarders looking for the cheapest way to the pistes to book straight away.”
