Airport Gets Set For Alicante With Ryanair


Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline has today announced a new destination from Bournemouth Airport for the winter season. The Alicante route will operate three times weekly and will commence in December 2007.

The announcement of yet another new route from Bournemouth Airport comes weeks after easyJet announced two new routes to Grenoble and Krakow for winter.

Announcing Ryanair’s new route today, Caroline Baldwin Head of Sales & Marketing at Ryanair said
“This new route will further boost holiday and tourism links from Bournemouth airport. Alicante is a fabulous sun destination and we expect the demand for travel to be massive. In addition, Ryanair’s huge brand presence in Spain will ensure the route will be popular with Spanish visitors to the region.”

“This is fantastic news that Ryanair will shortly be operating 9 routes from our airport. Ryanair continues to offer customers of the region a greater selection of destinations than ever before.”

To celebrate this new route, Ryanair are giving away 100,000 seats from just £10 including all taxes and charges. Seats are on sale from today at www.ryanair.com
