Two low-cost airlines will operate from Bournemouth over the next 12 months – Ryanair (which has a based aircraft at Bournemouth) and easyJet (which will operate an 8 x week service to Geneva this winter).
The airport is currently undergoing a £45 million redevelopment programme which will include the installation of Cat III navigation and lighting aids, a new international arrivals hall, plus improved check in, security and departure hall facilities.
The redevelopment will be phased over the next couple of years.
The terminal at Bournemouth Airport currently occupies a total of 5430 square metres, with approximately 1200 square metres to be replaced and 4600 square metres of new build to be added as part of our redevelopment.
