Accessibility
At Bournemouth Airport we work hard to make our facilities as comprehensive and comfortable for all our customers. A special range of services is available for disabled and mobility impaired passengers, including:
Parking
There are designated disabled parking spaces in Car Park 1.
There is a help point in Car Park 1 which will put you in direct contact with the information desk. Please contact them if you need a wheelchair or help with your luggage.
Increased security measures mean vehicles are no longer able to park at the front of the terminal building.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are provided free of charge throughout the terminal – please request through your airline or ask at the airport information desk for assistance.
Boarding the Aircraft
Boarding assistance is provided by your airline, so it’s important to notify them of the help you’ll need to book your flight. It’s also a good idea to confirm any special assistance when you check-in.
Toilet Facilities
There are fully equipped disabled toilets in all areas of the terminal building.
Telephones
Public telephones are available throughout the terminal building.
First Aid Room
Requests for first aid should be made to the Information Desk or a member of staff.
Assistance Dogs
We welcome Guide Dogs in the terminal building. If you wish to travel with your guide dog please check with your airline in advance. For comprehensive advice about flying with your assistance dog, visit www.guidedogs.org.uk
